Life today is so much more complex, that we are out of our natural rhythm to process what is going on around us.  This makes us feel OUT OF CONTROL of our lives and the JOY OF LIVING is sucked out of us to re-charge the energy expended.

We can feel WE NO LONGER EXIST and we are totally out of touch with ourselves.

These words give us a guide of what is going on.....

In our lives today, we require to learn the tools of HOW TO LIVE in this complexity to find Work Life Balance.  Of course we can always choose to opt out of the whole system, but that is becoming more and more difficult and not as pleasant as we thought it would be.  We are now caught up with the surge whether we like it or not.

WHERE TO START!!!!   Life Work Balance

One word ...... STOP the inner turmoil.

As always it comes back to YOU, the individual and what is going on inside of you.

THE OUTSIDE WORLD IS JUST A REFLECTION OF YOUR INSIDE WORLD

Take time out, go away somewhere quiet and just sit for a while with a pen and paper and do an audit of your Life work balance.

' I Can't' you say..... well the reality is the world will keep turning without you, this is the first and NUMBER ONE place to start.... TAKE BACK YOUR POWER TO SAY 'NO' and that is saying 'NO' to your own addiction of habit to being BUSY.  You may have to diarise this time out, so plan it in advance so you can put in place what is necessary to cover your responsibilities which includes delegating.

BUSYNESS CREATES CONFUSION & BURN OUT

This BUSYNESS creates CONFUSION and deadens down your ability to listen to your inner promptings & guidance.

With your piece of paper, just stop and focus on each point below at a time and write down the answers - this is the beginning of and is called PLANNING YOUR LIFE:

  • What are your roles in life? Parent, employee, business owner, sibling, child, money earner, carer, etc.  List them with each one in a column and fill in below the following:Life Work Balance
  • What are the most Important requirements of these roles? 2 at the most
  • Do you have to do what is necessary to fill these requirements or can they be delegated to someone else?  WHO or what organization.
  • If they cannot be delegated, then just focus on each one and on another piece of paper write down the steps and the time involved to do what is necessary to achieve the necessary outcomes, you may find that some of these lesser steps can be delegated.  This will bring some clarity to the importance and priority of the steps you must do, how long they will take and when it is necessary to do them.

At this point you will be getting a clear picture of what is IMPORTANT & NECESSARY, to maintain a Life work balance, and how much of what you do is not necessary for you to do.  Learning to use the word "NO" is so very important to get out of overwhelm.

CLARITY WILL OPEN UP OPPORTUNITY & HOW TO TURN 1 WEEK INTO 2 WEEKS

A little tip: this clarity will open up the opportunity for the right people to come into your life to assist and support you because you have created the space for them to do so within your mental, & energetic field

Next, become aware of the concept that for you, in your life, 1 week could be 2 weeks.  In other words certain roles are allocated special focus time within the day, within the week or within 2 weeks or within the month or within the quarter year or within the year.

Remember one important role is MY TIME and you decide how much time you need and when you need it.... this is the MOST IMPORTANT ROLE because if you are not grounded and balanced everything around you will get out of balance....... remember the outside world is a reflection of your inside world.

Now, fill out your diary with the time you will allocate to these Important and Necessary roles in your life.  Some roles you will find will have a lesser focus than others, so you prioritise them but if they are important to you, do not neglect them.  As mentioned above the number 1 role is MY TIME.  If you have Work Life Balance you are being energetically recharged on all levels.

This work so far, you can call the FRAMEWORK for your daily activities.  It takes time to re-train yourself in this simplification of your life by using the lever of PRIORITIZATION.  To find Life Work Balance,
